Gustav: I was 14 years old.

Bill: I had my first kiss with the same girl as Tom. We were 10 years old.

Bill: The first day it was Tom, and then one day later it was me.

Bill: I think the Olsen twins are cute.

Tom: Wellies.

Tom: I think the best pizza you can get is in New York. It’s really good.

Bill: Georg is always late.

Georg: Sometimes I’m a little bit late.

Tom: Georg is lazy. And Bill, I don’t know. He sings too often. He always sings the whole day. And I don’t have any bad habits.

Bill: No, you don’t. He’s perfect.

Tom: A song on the new Jay-Z record.

Bill: For me, it was “It Means Nothing” by The Stereophonics.

Bill: A cup of coffee.

What did you dream about last night?

Tom: I can’t remember.

Bill: I was just so tired. I think I had one dream.

Tom: Sometimes [Bill and I] dream the same things.

Bill: We’ll meet each other at breakfast and talk about our dreams, and they’re the same. It’s crazy!

Georg: Zero.

Bill: Nothing.

Bill Kaulitz, frontman of mega-band Tokio Hotel, always attracted attention by his flamboyant styling. Recently more than before …

Dark made-up eyes, perfectly painted artificial nails: the 20 years old explains his style in the BILD interview and talks about his new movie “Arthur und die Minimoys 2″ and about his first kiss.

With his 10 cm high heels he’s nearly 2 heads higher than the BILD editor.

“I’ve grown a bit, I’m now 1.88 m” he says while posing for the mutual photo which then was rather taken while sitting.

“And with that I wear high heels now!”. And not only that: his hair as Mohican, clothes from Christian Dior and Rick Owens (the rocker’s fav designer, Madonna wears the brand of the US-designer), a lot of silver jewelry around his neck and leather gloves. The young man knows how to stage himself.

BILD.de: Bill, do you decide yourself what to wear?

Bill: “Yes, of course. From the beginning it was important for me to have the freedom to wear what I want. The biggest piece of freedom is my own body. I want to decide myself how I want to look. To have a stylist who hands me everything is my biggest horror. I couldn’t ever bear it. For me it’s important to feel good and that I’m not bored.”

BILD.de: Were you always so self-confident or did you start to emancipate yourself with time?

Bill: “On our first meeting with the label they wanted to impose a stylist on us and tell me how to do my hair. That was the first thing I canceled. I was 14 that time. So there’ve been discussions from the beginning.”

BILD.de: Do you spend much money on fashion?

Bill: “If my clothes cost much or not is totally unimportant. Back then I didn’t have much allowance and sewed my clothes myself, I still do this now and then. Or I draw something and let someone tailor it. I partly wear jackets that cost 10 EUR. Important is, it looks awesome!”

BILD.de: What others say about your styling doesn’t matter to you?

Bill: “There’ve been times with Tokio Hotel I couldn’t hear the name anymore. I couldn’t look at my own face, hair, everything. And I couldn’t take offence if they thought alike. Then it’s time to change something. To present oneself different.”

BILD.de: Do you think you’re beautiful?

Bill: “I’m not someone who stands in front of a mirror and says: ‘Boah, you’re such a dish!’ Though many people believe that I do this. Of course, if other people say that I’m good looking it makes me happy. Oneself considers it differently though.” [the last part is bad, something along the lines 'you think differently about yourself in this case']

BILD.de: How much time do you need in the morning?

Bill: “I need around 1 hour for showering, dressing and make-up until I’m styled completely. But there are also days when I don’t style myself. Going to the airport with this hair (points to his Mohican) would be a bit straining. So I’m completely not made up and wear a cap. At home I wake up, wear a jogging suit and put myself unshaved in front of the TV – like everyone else.”

BILD.de: In “Arthur und die Minimoys 2″ you dub the main character again. He experiences his 1st kiss …

Bill: “Yes, to dub something like that in the vocal booth you kiss your own hand to make it sound real. This isn’t as romantic as it hopefully is in the movie.”

BILD.de: When was your 1st kiss?

Bill: “I was 9 or 10 years old. Tom and I actually had the same girl. He kissed her 1 day earlier than me. My turn was one day after. It was awful. I think the first kiss isn’t nice for anyone. I found it horrible back then. The 2nd kiss was better.”

BILD.de: Do you want to conquer Hollywood next?

Bill: “Until now there wasn’t the right role for me yet. I think it’s very hard to act. Though I have a little bit experience from music vids but acting a whole movie is something different. But if there’s the right thing I surely can imagine doing it. Vampire movies are my most fav movies. My childhood dream would come true if I could act in one.”

Bill Kaulitz in the next “Twilight” movie? Anyhow, the teen star already has the fitting style.

Bill Kaulitz: “I’m not the One-Night-Stand-Type of guy”
On the occasion of the movie “Arthur und die Minimoys 2″, in which Bill Kaulitz lent his voice to the main character of the movie, Gala met up with the Tokio-Hotel-Singer and talked with him about Girls, Rumours and his cooking skills.

For the german version of the film, Bill Kaulitz lent his voice again to the main character of the movie “Arthur und die Minimoys 2 – Die Rache des Bösen M”. Gala met up with the Tokio Hotel Singer for an interview.

In “Arthur 2″, the new animated movie by Luc Besson, you lent the little hero your voice for the second time. Is it difficult for you to indentify with a Fantasy-Figure?

It is a challenge to empathize into a fantasy world and to put all your emotions into an animated figure. The most difficult part is, when you have to laugh or cry on command. And this several times in a row. But in the end everything went well.

Could you imagine to stand in front of the camera for an upcoming film?

Actually, I always had the opinion that a singer should sing and that an actor should act. But to be honest, lately I thought more and more about trying it out. Whereas I don’t even know if I have enough talent for it. It should therefore be a small role.

Would you rather play the bad guy or the superhero?

Definitely the bad guy. Preferably a vampire or a junkie – yes, these would be my absolute dream roles.

The next “Twilight”-Book will be made into a movie soon – how about playing an evil vampire on the side of Robert Pattinson?

I would immediately say yes to a role in “Twilight”.

In “Arthur 2″ the heart of the little hero beats for princess Selena. Your heart however is still looking for love…

I would love to fall in love, but everything fails because of the life I currently lead. With “Tokio Hotel” we spend about two days in a city, then we already fly to the next one. But trust is very important for me in a relationship. I’m very skeptical and I don’t let a lot of people get close to me. Sure, it would be possible for me to take a girl up to my room every night, but I never did that. I’m not the One-Night-Stand type of guy. That’s just not what I’m looking for. I’m looking for somebody who really means something to me.

What should a woman have to arouse your interest?

She would have to radiate the joy of life, be spontaneous and self-confident. Furthermore she should be able to stand on her own feet and she shouldn’t make her live dependent on mine.

Your career with “Tokio Hotel” seems like a fairytale. You’ve become world stars in the last 5 years. Do you sometimes wish to be the normal Bill Kaulitz, that you’ve been before?

Absolutely. On some days I wake up and think: Oh god, that’s so overwhelming, I don’t want to do a thing today. Of course there’s a lot of pressure that weighs on us and I pressure myself the most. My brother, Tom, and I are control freaks. It’s incredibly difficult for us, to let other people decide things. There’s nothing that can be decided without us looking over it – and sometimes it’s just too much. But that’s just the problem of authority I happen to have, and it probably won’t change.

How do you manage to relax, to gain new energy?

The only thing that can distract me is the time that I spend with my family, old friends from school and with my dogs. Just in this little circle of people that are close to me, which already knew me before the whole career with “Tokio Hotel” started, I can relax. I trust them 100%. These friendships are very intense and therefore also very important to me.

But you can no longer go to the disco with your old friends from school…

No, I can’t lead a normal life anymore – and I won’t be able to do that ever again. I don’t need to fool myself. When I go out, Bodyguards are always accompanying me and one is also standing in front of my door. Success is a curse and a blessing at the same time. I can’t live with it, but I also can’t live without it. I need it: the stage, the shows, the spotlight. It gives me a lot of strenght, and I feel myself called upon it – I would like that to last a lifetime. But there are also days, where I would love to be a normal guy.

What would you do on such a day?

A party-vacation with a lot of friends in a two-star hotel on Mallorca or Ibiza. A real chav-vacation, where you start drinking Sangria on the plane.

There is a rumor which states that you’re very stressed and that you’re struggling with a eating disorder …

There are in total 3 rumours which return every year: Bill Kaulitz is anorexic. Bill Kaulitz is gay. Bill Kaulitz leaves the band. But they’re just not right. I’ve always been slim and just don’t gain weight, it doesn’t matter what I do. I don’t pay attention to anything. I order milkshakes and coke and I eat french fries – but it has to be vegetarian. Tom and I don’t eat meat since a year and a half.

Do you cook sometimes?

My cooking skills are enough to cook a plate of pasta. But I’m far too lazy for it anyways. When we’re on the road, we always order something from the room service and otherwise I shove a frozen pizza into the oven.

And your favorite meal – apart from frozen pizza?

I used to love duck with red cabbage and potatoes. But now as a vegetarian I could only eat the side dish. That is why I now prefer to eat Nudelgratin (cmmt.: didn’t find a translation for it XD) with a lot of grilled cheese. It really has to be because of our genes, that we don’t gain any weight. By the way, Tom weighs as much as me – his clothes are just bigger than mine. Well, and he also exercises more than me.

What do you do to stay fit?

To get through the upcoming gigs, I probably need to start jogging again. Although I’m actually totally unsportsmanlike. Weight lifting, swimming, football – I don’t do anything from the above.

Tokio Hotel’s Bill Kaulitz signs autographs at the premiere of ‘Arthur and the Invisibles 2′

Sunday was a day for fashion, animated films and fans of Tokio Hotel’s Bill Kaulitz. Kaulitz helped premiere his new film, “Arthur und die Minimoys 2 – Die Rache des Bösen M” (Arthur and the Vengeance of Maltazard) in Berlin amid the screams of adoring Tokio Hotel fans.

According to the Berliner Zeitung, amid the shouts of Tokio Hotel fans, Tokio Hotel front man, Bill Kaulitz arrived at Berlin’s Cinestar at Potsdamer Platz to premiere his film “Arthur und die Minimoys 2 – Die Rache des Bösen M” (Arthur and the Vengeance of Maltazard) in Berlin on Sunday.

Box Office Bomb in the U.S., Box Office Wonder in Europe

Kaulitz provided the voice for the title character, Arthur, a 12-year old youth, who was given a rice kernel by a spider. On the rice kernel was the word, “Help”, which meant only one thing to Arthur. His friends, the Minimoys must be in trouble.

While the original film, “Arthur and the Invisibles” did poorly in the U.S., according to WildAboutMovies.com, it exploded overseas. It cost $85 million dollars to make, but only grossed $15 million in the States. However, worldwide it grossed a 100 million at the box office and about that much in DVD sales. Kaulitz himself voiced Arthur in the first film and now the second.

King of Fashion

Kaulitz, who was dressed in a lavender pullover and black Cardigan, paused on his walk down the red carpet to sign autographs for fans. Hundreds of die hard Tokio Hotel fans had been lined up behind barriers since that morning, waiting for a chance to see the 20 year-old singer.

At the premiere was the first time that Kaulitz would see the film in its entirety. He expressed being “totally excited” about seeing it.

The film, which was directed by French filmmaker Luc Besson, opens for wide release in theatres in Germany officially on November 26th.

I’ve got good news and bad news. Bad news first: these are the last of Tokio Hotel‘s MTV Buzzworthy Blog fan interviews. The good news? You get TWO new videos!

In the first (of the last… for now!) Tokio Hotel Buzzworthy Blog fan Q&A videos, Tokio Hotel discusses their lack of enthusiasm for YouTube as well as their disinterest in re-watching Tokio Hotel performances. Plus, to coincide with Adam Lambert’s Bill Kaulitz crush, the guys talk about Tokio Hotel’s fan boys.

And, in this last Tokio Hotel Buzzworthy Blog fan Q&A, Tom talks about his blog, Bill talks about his acting aspirations — he’d love to do Twilight, but a vampire or a junkie will do too — hence my suggestion that Bill Kaulitz star in a remake of Christiane F. – Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo (again, sorry for my atrocious German!) – Tom shouts out the movies he’d like to act in, and Bill summarizes the early days before Tokio Hotel: “I can’t remember my life before Tokio Hotel.”
